‘Look Who Decided to Stop By’ featuring work by artists Erin Titus and Kaylin Price at 𝒹𝓇𝒾𝒻𝓉: an independent curators space.
‘Look Who Decided to Stop By’ is collaborative body of work that plays with the constant paradoxes between symbolism and function of objects in the home. Erin Titus and Kaylin Price exaggerate the design of objects to effectively connect elements, patterns, and materials to the emotional content the object has to the individual. Collected and design elements found in home decoration are a vehicle to question if objects contain inherent qualities or if their meanings are acquired by constant repetition through familiarity and convention.
